The above pictures represent a commission which has a lot of history behind it. These panels were bought by the customer from a reclaimers yard with a third of the glass cracked or missing. The stained glass window panels were stripped down completely and re-built. By request of the customer all the glass was re-used where possible with matching glass for the missing pieces within the panel(s).
The commission below was a repair and restoration of cracked and missing glass pieces. This stained glass window panel was stripped down, cleaned and re-leaded. Care was required when cleaning the centre piece as this was painted and fired into the glass. Missing pieces were matched up and replaced.
